How to Submit a Ticket in Freshdesk 


  1. 1. From OneMORPC Homepage, navigate to the ITS page.

  1. 2. Click "Freshdesk Help Desk." The Freshdesk portal will open in a new tab.

  1. 3. Click "Submit a ticket" in the upper right corner.  
     
    (Please note: You do NOT need to be logged in to Freshdesk in order to submit a helpdesk ticket.)

  1. 4. Enter your email address in the Requester field. Once the email address is entered, a second field will appear. Please enter your first and last name in this field.

  1. 5. Please enter a topic or subject line for the issue.

  1. 6. Under the Type dropdown menu, please select the type of ticket being submitted. Options include Facilities, HR, IT, Name Change, and Individual Star Award Nominations. For any tech-related items, please select IT Support.

  1. 7. If you know the type of IT request this will be, please select from the dropdown menu. If you are unsure, please leave this field blank.  
     
    (This field is not mandatory and does not have a red asterisk by field title)

  1. 8. Please add a description in the Description box at the bottom. Add any details you may have pertaining to the issue or any other IT-related questions. 
     
    (Please note: If there is an error message you are experiencing, please be sure to include a screen shot of the error message. This significantly assists in troubleshooting and resolving the matter in a timely fashion.)

  1. 9. If you have any screenshots or supporting documentation, please include these as an Attachment on the ticket.

  1. 10. If you are not signed in to your Freshdesk account while submitting a ticket, you will be requested to submit to reCAPTCHA for security purposes. Please follow the prompts as indicated.

  1. 11. Click the Submit button to submit the ticket to the appropriate team.
