Good morning, all!

At this time, we do not have an ETA on restoration of the network drives or server access. Please know the team is diligently attending to this matter as the top priority and additional updates will be provided as they become available.

***For those working from the office today - When you connect to wifi today, MORPC-Staff will not have internet access as this is directly connected to our servers and internal network. Please connect to the MORPC-guest network. This is an independent wifi network not connected to our internal network. You still will not be able to access network drives, but you will be able to connect to the internet and access web browser, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, etc. If you do not have the password for this already, please let me know.

Should you have any additional questions in the interim pertaining to network connectivity, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Thank you all for your patience and understanding through this matter!

Good afternoon, team –

Access to our servers is still unavailable at this time. I sincerely apologize, but we do not have an ETA for restoration at this time. For planning purposes, please anticipate this could potentially take several days to fully restore.

As developments happen and more information is available, we will be sure to communicate these to the organization. Should you have absolutely any questions or concerns in the interim though, please don't hesitate to reach out to me on Teams, email, or snag me in the office.

Thank you again for everyone's patience and understanding in this!

Good morning, all!

FanTAStic news this morning. ? Access to our network has been restored and operations should resume as normal.

This means:

  • EMS is back up, so new updates may be sent to FortiClient and a new vulnerability scan will be conducted in the background today for each PC. This should not impact the user experience.
    • We will be going through the recent whitelist requests and updating those this morning. I will send an update via the ticket once completed.
  • Print server is back up. Printing to the Upper Level Xerox, Lower Level Xerox, and the HP Plotter has been restored.
  • File server is back up. This means access to MORPC2 and all other mapped network drives has been restored.
  • MORPC-Staff WiFi network now has internet connectivity. Please feel free to switch back to this WiFi network when back in the office.

Should you attempt to access a drive/file/pathway and run into any unexpected snags, please let us know immediately so we can investigate and close the loop. If you have any additional questions as well, don't hesitate to reach out.

Thank you ALL for your patience as our team works through this!
